MAIN OBJECTIVES:

Manage the continuous and uninterrupted financial pricing control of the In-Flight Services & Product department. Furthermore, reviewing all prices per seat and assess usages per product and inflight items.

 

MAIN DUTIES:

 

  1. Implement, control, and update/check all approved prices received from GF Caterers.

     

  2. Distribute the relevant prices to the local GF financial controllers, in order to control caterer’s invoice furthermore correspond to the approved prices and agreed services.

     

  3. Analyse and evaluate the total catering cost on monthly basis.

     

  4. Make sure and cross check all catering transactions comply with signed and valid contract.

     

  5. Perform the financial analysis of the catering station tenders and prepare relevant Business Cases when required.

     

  6. Participate in the preparation process of annual budget and forecast.

     

  7. Review, follow – up and implement cost saving initiatives.

 

  1. Attend all Tender Committee meetings.

     

  2. Handle and reply to all correspondence regarding payments, Credit notes and SLA penalties.

 

  1. Assist the immediate superior in all relevant issues.

 

  1. Create a Pricing manual per sector per cabin per seat for all IFS and Product cost

     

  2. Conduct and carry out regular study on all product categories to identify areas for potential cost reduction and savings.

     

  3. Publish manual and coordinate with Commercial division on cost impact.

     

  4. Assess inflight services and product usages on monthly basis and develop an automated report to publish for GF divisions.

     

  5. Negotiate with suppliers on current pricing and evaluate the best decision for cost reduction without impacting quality.

     

  6. Support and develop SKYMEAL system with Manager Catering and IT.

     

  7. Adapt pricing of meals per sector per cabin per seat to SKYMEAL system.

     

  8. Develop Reporting automated tool with Manager Catering and IT for cost of inflight services with full breakdown.

     

  9. Responsible for subordinates KPIs and required to complete all stages of performance management system.

 

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

 

  • University Degree Level.

  • PC literate-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • High Standard of written/spoken English

  • Strong analytical capability and commercial awareness

  • Advanced communication and presentation skills               

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Airline Catering.

 

  • Knowledge of technical terminology and very familiarity with arithmetic would be an advantage.
