Main Objectives:
Aircraft Technical records are one of the most important issues in aviation and related directly to Regulatory Authorities and Airworthiness of the Aircraft.

Entering Aircraft Technical Log and Aircraft Cabin Log defects/actions in MIS (Maintenance Information Systems) accurately and properly is critical for Airworthiness.

Segregate and distribute ATL/ACL pages to Technical Records and maintaining a record of ATL/ACL blue pages in Ramp office as record in accordance with Technical Instruction Manual.

Monitor/control all sector defects and action taken are registered in MIS accurately and in a timely manner

Record and action all Work packages in MIS as per Technical Instruction Manual and company policy
Main Duties:
1. Update MIS (Maintenance Information Systems) with actual Aircraft Technical Log book data in a timely manner.

2. Update MIS (Maintenance Information Systems) with actual Aircraft Cabin Log book data in a timely manner.

3. Send sector debrief signal for all third party operators handled by Gulf Air.

4. Monitor and make sure that all Deferred Defects raised by the engineers are correctly marked with the ATA chapter, time limit and categorised as per the aircraft Minimum Equipment List, any noticed discrepancy to be brought to the attention of shift AMDM to correct it.

5. Assist in the Station Publications amendments and acknowledge same.

6. Assist Shift AMDM when out of office such as when attending AOG Aircrafts. This may include answering phone calls and coordinating with shift engineers and technicians.

7. Issue the daily Station Shift Activity and Third Party Reports.

8. File and control all the station holding aircraft documentations as per TIM section 3-01.

9. Prepare all pages removed at the station and other documents and arrange to distribute and send them to concern departments, technical records and MCC on daily basis.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in specific MIS (Maintenance Information Systems), any similar system or typing system will be accepted
Qualifications:
Completed Secondary School or Higher Certificate with further technical qualification.

Very good knowledge of PC and Office software. Should be competent in typing fast and accurately

Very good knowledge of English language including reading and writing skills.
