Main Objectives:
Manage and control aircraft, assembly and e-Enabled configurations to satisfy relevant airworthiness/engineering requirements.
Person:
1 Establish the configuration for aircraft and assemblies, containing the main configuration/sub assembly with the associated functional positions and applicable part numbers.

2 Review the maintenance program, manufacture documents and coordinate with engineering to include the functional positions to the aircraft and assembly configurations to cover the parts which having a requirement or life.

3 Review and coordinate with the engineering and other parties to manage the amendments on the current configurations.

4 Communicate with technical records, receiving inspectors and engineering sections in order to update and fix the issues belongs to assemblies configuration.

5 Maintain the configuration updated correctly by comparing actual fitted components with the defined configurations.

6 Conduct periodic verifications for the actual fitted components vs. the built configuration on the MIS.

7 Review all the configuration discrepancies / issues and figure out the root cause for each case.

8 Prepare aircraft/assembly configuration reports and publish it to the concerned departments

9 Liaise with technical record and the concerned departments to fix and update the MIS system with the required correction or revision.

10 Coordinate with System engineering to define the software configuration, verify with actual current software and update aircraft software or MIS system when required

Experience:
Minimum 7 years of Aviation Technical Experience of which 2 years should be in a configuration and/ or MIS system.
• Experience on OEM publications.
• Thorough computer literacy, MS Excel and exposure to MIS systems

Qualifications:
a) Bachelor Degree in aeronautical engineering and /or aircraft maintenance qualification acceptable to the BCAA or equivalent qualification/certification.

b) Good Knowledge of the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components / part M.
c) Sound Knowledge of aviation MIS system i.e. AMOS.
