MAIN OBJECTIVES:
To maintain Company and 3rd party aircraft in accordance with the approved maintenance schedule using approved methods and procedures.
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Carry out all routine and non-routine maintenance of GF aircraft within the scope of the approval (including A&C and Avionics) as applicable.

2. Carry out all routine and non-routine maintenance on third party aircraft for which the jobholder is holding type approval (including A&C and Avionics) as applicable.

3. Ensure On-time departures of these aircrafts on completion of relevant routine scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks. 

4. Perform duties when deemed necessary to meet with the schedule changes at short notices by accompanying aircraft for the purposes of carrying out both routine and non-routine maintenance.

5. Travel when required for recovery of aircraft during an AOG (aircraft on ground) situation and as a flying spanner to handle pre-departure check for GF and other 3rd party.

6. Responsible for up keeping of, bonded store, office to ensure a clean, tidy and serviceable condition and clean and tidy environments.

7. Maintain the station Manuals/Technical Publications up-to-date as per Company requirements.

8. Responsible for keeping the station “impress” up-to-date and following on Gulf Air Technical Material Department for replenishment of any materials shortages.

9. Ensures accurate, timely debriefs of stations messages to Maintenance Control Centre on aircraft departure, technical delay, defect rectification, ADDs/MDDs raised and ETS during prolonged technical delay.

10. Deputize for the Station Engineer when the need arises.
Experience:

Minimum five years’ experience on aircraft maintenance, of which a minimum of 3 years as a certifying engineer. 

Qualifications:
Must be a holder of Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department with a minimum of one or two Aircraft Type.
